Recent Evenrs

Enjoyed the events in September and early October.   There were a number of them, including the special flea market morning in Emporia, the tour group from California at Pioneer Bluffs, (even sang "out California Way"  for them - an old song I sorta learned for the occasion).   The Old Iron Days at Fredonia was an excellent event, and the Parsons Farm Heritage Day for school kids was a well put together event, but a cold north wind and a bit of rain, put a damper on it, ending it early.   The Chisholm Trail festival in Abilene was another good day with many activities celebrating the history of the old cattle town.

Looking forward now to the next meeting of the Western Music Assn of Kansas - which will be Oct. 19 at the Hoy's Flying W ranch.
